The Ordinary - With over $300M in sales, this skincare leader is innovating and releasing affordable and high-quality products. They were quick to the punch, releasing their Hyaluronic Acid serum and are generating an estimated $2.2M in sales on Amazon alone with this product.

Freeze-drying fruits and vegetables, crushing them into a fine powder, and filling small capsules with it. The idea is to maintain a balanced diet for those unable to consume the recommended daily servings of fruits and vegetables.
The Fruits & Veggies product sells in a 2-pack for… $90!! Wild, I know.
On Amazon alone, they’re generating an estimated $2M in monthly sales.
Is this legit? Or just a gimmick?
Here are some concerns I have with the company:
Lack of Scientific Evidence: The product’s entire branding appears to be a replacement for eating traditional fruits and vegetables. There is not enough independent, peer-reviewed research to substantiate that the product is a valid substitute.
Not FDA approved: In fact, they’ve been publically warned by the FDA for mislabeling the nutrition facts and violating quality control standards.
Marketing Tactics: The company targets elderly people on Fox News ads and some of the testimonials appear to be misleading and overstate the benefits of the products.
Regardless of my unprofessional opinion, the company is on fire and is poised to be acquired by a nutritional giant.
